As many of the Avonbelles as could make it, gathered on the evening of 25th April to throw a 'Baby Shower' for Caroline and David. David's parents were also able to be there, with his mother alloted secretarial duties by Caroline (making a list of the donors of all the lovely presents). There was a lot of fun and laughter as Caroline and David savoured the opening of each gift.
After two hours of present opening (!) a lovely buffet, arranged by Rose, was enjoyed by all the chorus before the evening was rounded off in the usual barbershop fashion, doing what we all love, singing together. Many thanks to Rose for her hard work in organising everything - everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Good Luck Caroline and David - life is about to change - big time!
