Otherwise, ring Pearl on 01454 314184 to find out more details! We are very excited to announce that the Avonbelles are now the proud owners of brand new risers. We are very proud of all the fundraising we had to do to be able to buy them. If you have any queries about these risers, please do not hesistate to contact sue.walker@southglos.gov.uk who will happily pass on the contact details of the company we bought them from! The Avonbelles are happily working towards the LABBS preliminary competitions in April. We are all very excited about the songs we are singing, and about all the new work we are putting into these new songs. We are singing on the Sunday, and we definitely expect to reach the 650 mark pass score to qualify for Convention this year! Harrogate, hear we come! Unfortunately, over the last few months, The Avonbelles have lost a few members who are sorely missed. We bid a fond farewell to Sylvia McNicholas and Theresa Coy - we hope that circumstances allow them to return in the future. We are also missing Audrey Akroyd at the moment, who had a heart attack before Christmas, and now has fallen and broken her hip. We wish Audrey a speedy recovery! On a happier note, we would like to welcome Lin to the bass section. On her second week with us, she passed her second voice test with flying colours! We also hope that Emse may become a new chorus member, and may also become a new bass section member!
