June 2006Wow! Would you believe it but over the last few months, the Avonbelles has gained a whole bunch of new members! We would like you to welcome, Esme, Tash, Siobhan, Beverly, Jo, Sheila, Melanie and Lucy! We are so happy to have you join us! And the visitors haven't stopped coming. Watch this space! A lot of this is due to the hard work we put in for our Harmony Workshop, in May this year. I know that we all had a great evening. In fact, it was such a resounding success, that we are planning another one soon! On the 15th July, at St Mary's Old School House in Yate, we will be holding another workshop. They are so much fun. We can't wait to go this year, and to demonstrate everything we have been working on over that last few months. It should be great! We were very sad to hear of the loss of Dot Hewitt. She was a member of the Avonbelles for a long time, and bravely fought her cancer for many years. She will be sorely missed by many, and our thoughts are with Di and their families at this time.
